Barack Obama (D) was elected the 44th president of the United States. Capping one of the best campaigns in recent memory, Obama beat Sen. John McCain by nearly a hundred electoral votes. He won states that had not been won by a Democratic candidate in over four decades. To say that Obama inherits a country in trouble would be an understatement. The campaign was long and hard, but the real hard work lies ahead. Will Obama restore the Constitution, or will he shuffle along mouthing the same feel-good stuff he trundled in his campaign?
